What’s those shavings on the counter?

That’s a lot of food for a termite

Is that your woodworking meal? Looks good. I do similar things when I’m too arsed to make something healthy lol.

I think I’ve had something like this at a Chinese restaurant once. It was made from rice flour dough, rolled out, cut into pieces, and boiled. Then, they lightly stir-fried it with char siu and served it with green onions and soy sauce. I added the chili oil at the table, but and oh my god, it was fanfreakingtastic!

I even tried Googling the name, but couldn’t find it.

Very close to my favorite dish at the Xi’an delicious foods express.

That actually sounds good, you’ve sort of just made Western tteokbokki which is delicious.

Nah, I’d eat the hell out of that, and it even looks good. Wrong sub 🙂

So basically chilli stir fried cat’s ear. Not too bad actually.

So it’s sort of like homemade Gnocci minus the filling? It sounds like you hit on something pretty good.

Scissor cut noodles! Looks tasty. Not near the shavings, though.

This feels like the culinary equivalent to a techbro reinventing a train.

The frugal man’s tteokbokki (poor is such a harsh word…)
