I just can't with egg whites. I need the yolk, so I make it work. Cooked the eggs in my homemade iron rich chili, and topped it with harissa and fresh dill. As a bonus this one meal contains 9mg of iron which is exactly what I need when I'm on my period. Usually top it with cottage cheese as well for extra protein but I was out 🙁

I feel you on the anemia OP. Doc told me I was anemic too which I found shocking.
Are you taking an extra iron supplement with your food? If you are, throw in some vitamin c supplement. That apparently helps absorption, go figure.
Can you give the deets on your iron rich chilli? I am in a constant battle against anemia

Ok so it’s not just me. I finally caved and got some egg whites a few weeks ago after hearing so much about them and I just can’t. It’s like slightly eggy air. It made me so nauseous. I’ll take the higher calorie hit and just eat some fuckin yolks.

I do one yolk and a crap ton of egg whites, it helps me 😅
I also can’t do egg whites on their own, I mix about 100g with a whole egg and I can’t really tell the difference taste-wise. This looks delicious!
