Not great but a lot better than 200%. I wouldn't have a job in a few months if that happened, so I am happy to see this, although I would prefer none obviously. Haven't seen a news source yet to link but this was the image he held up shortly listing all the countries reciprocal tariffs.

    I wouldn’t get excited yet. If the EU imposes additional tariffs in response to this, he could bring back the threat of 200%. Remember that nonsense didn’t even get brought up until the EU threatened tariffs on American whiskey in response to steel tariffs. What a shit show. I’m not shipping my container still for a couple weeks at least. I feel like you just can’t be certain yet.

    It will actually be 30% I believe, that 20% is on top of the baseline 10% he is enacting on all countries regardless of status on this list.

    So apparently he’s also establishing a “baseline tariff” that applies to all countries of 10% and is in addition to the 20% for goods from the EU. So 30% in total I guess.
    But his presentation is almost impossible to follow..
