I first became aware of this cheese back 2020. Exotic pandemic mail order cheese was just the thing to brighten those uncertain days.
I bought three different tins originally and enjoyed two of them promptly, the dill garlic and Viking. I decided to age the Cougar Gold.
I decided that its 5th birthday was a great day to finally open this cheese.
It’s so good, nicely sharp with a great texture and those crunchy crystals that form in long aged cheeses.
Shout out to Tristan who made this cheese so many years ago. Are you still in the cheese game?
