I post on here as on outlet really.
Eerily enough my last post was about a 12 day vacation to the Bahamas. Things don’t always go as planned, on their way down to the cruise ship my family was involved in a very severe accident that has left my dad learning how to walk again.
The weird part about all of this is that he is the only reason I even own a Weber grill. So, obviously I find comfort in cooking on my Weber grills because it reminds me of my dad.
This one was for him despite the fact that he’s never even made this meal, but oddly enough I could feel every tip and trick he ever gave me regarding grilling on this one.
Here’s to a speedy recovery, Frank. I love you.

Squeezing the juices out of the burger. Save the press for the griddle.
I’m happy he inspired you to grill and enjoy life! My thoughts are with your dad, you, and your family. Grill on, my friend!
You should look into getting a QwikChar tray for the grill, Here’s a good video to watch.

I miss my dad. Glad yours is still alive. Speedy recovery to him and enjoy every moment.
My Dad is 81 and has real issues with his mobility now. He can’t grill anymore, so I’m so glad he used to let me hang with him and learn a thing or two along the way so I can do the grilling now.
Wishing your Dad a speedy recovery!
Keep on grilling!
After spending some time here, I now believe this sub is mostly made up of uptight husbands, with grills, that aren’t getting laid.
Or maybe IT guys really got into Weber grills over time and are dominating this sub, due to their IT skills. Because we all know how pedantic, and not getting laid, they can be.
Best wishes to your Dad, OP. I like the bacon churning away back there.
Yo, do what you gotta do. Celebrate him and his life while he is here, right?
Most importantly—Give him a big hug and tell him you love him. Then learn how to use that grill and feed him quality cooks.
I don’t have a dad but damn this is great.
I remember my grandfather cooking on the grill when I was really little.
Sending extra healing vibes
