Lisboa which is the Portuguese word for Lisbon (the Portuguese capital city) will be hitting the streets of Penarth next month.
The business is a family run venture operated by 53-year-old Joao Silva.
Café owner Joao Silva (Image: Joao Silva) Speaking about the business Joao said: “Me and my wife we started our other café five years ago in Cardiff Bay and 40% of our regular customers are from Penarth.
“The café is based on pastries and coffee culture. Our café will be different from your high-street brand and more about having a good time rather than for meetings or work.
“It’s a different atmosphere we go for the ambience in our coffee culture.”
