I think the use of cutlery might be the problem here.

also, rotate the goddamned picture. I can’t tell what angle you were sitting at. Were you sitting in front of the cutting board to the bottom or in front of the placemat and drink to the right, while fscing t9 the left of the vertical pic?
My eyes are left ro right, not vertical. Vertical pictures from overtop a table are impossible to get oriented with. This pic is just an eye strain.
Also, why are you complaining about an appetizer not being served on a plate. They generall have appetizer plates for that. You probably just left them out of the picture or the server forgot to bring them.
