Smoked the tips , shredded them, added 3 cans of bush’s, half an onion, half a bell pepper, a can of rotel, and the tip meat. Dude. So good! Happy smoking all! Just wanted to show off my bean Frankenstein!(the ribs came out nice too:p)

Looks awesome! If you’re patient enough to smoke a brisket, you’re patient enough to make some beans, especially instant pot style. That flavor from dry beans is hard to beat, but your version sounds like time+effort:goodness ratio is much better.

I use a similar recipe, typically pulled pork and bacon though. But any smoked meat will be perfect. .

The beans, I use 1 tall can of bushes regular, 2 cans of Pinto, and 2 cans butter (small beans if available). After that, it’s whatever makes you happy. Fresh Jalapino, Poblano, diced red onion, green pepper.

    1 cup BBQ sauce,

    1 cup brown sugar,

    3-4 cloves garlic,

    2-3 tbs Franks hot sauce.

F it, let’s make this a bbq baked beans thread.
