I love pan fried potatoes. I just don’t make them often anymore because I eat WAY too many and then go into a carb coma. These look amazing though.

You’re just a bit of ground beef and tomato sauce away from making a picadillo. Or throw in some egg and chorizo/ham/bacon for breakfast tacos.

Recipe: I wash them with cold water, cut them and put them in a pan greased with oil, medium heat with the lid on. Salt and turn them with a wooden spatula, after about 10 minutes I add the herbs and take the lid off , cook until they form a crust. The ones in the photo are 1.3 kg for the aromatic herbs rosemary , sage….
