This is the line as of 1 pm at Makers pizza Bayview.
I counted and there were over 150 people.
Free margherita large pizza starting 12:30 pm until supplies last.
Not promoting as I went there as a normal customer around 12:15 pm and I just did a walk-in and I got the pizza.

Ppl lining up for upscale dominoes pizza…typical Toronto.
Imagine valuing your time so little.
$32 for a pizza….. more than 2.5 hours of minimum wage work after tax. To buy a pizza
The people in line are rich if they live around there. And so clueless, spread out all over the sidewalk.
Most of the people seem to be socializing. So there’s some value in that
Toronto looooves lines and free stuff
🎼 A big fat line, a big fat line 🎶
Big dumb line. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DHz89qMsqNX/?igsh=eTZ6OHF1YTBid2w3
Toronto loves lines
Remembered the lineups to Mandarin when they offer free meals on Canada Day
I’d rather buy a pizza than stand in this line
If you have nothing better to do – why not? FWIW – have you seen the Costco gas lines today?

If I was nearby and younger I would totally line up. I want that spiffy bag! Too many grumps in this thread
Makers pizza is great
That line is crazy lol. PI CO. had $3.14 margherita pizza’s on March 14th and the line was only 30 mins. I thought that was long!
Line was 1.5 hour wait, worth it for me who had the day off and didn’t have anything else going on. Listened to podcasts and wore a warm jacket, got my pizza and threw it in a large insulated bag, went to the gym and had an unreaaaaaaal post workout meal. In the insulated bag was a T-shirt a coupon a surprisingly good quality glass and silicone tumbler, and a handheld pizza cutter. Vibes were generally good in line, no regrets. They also apparently committed to serving 600 pizzas, so everyone in line was good if we’re using OP’s counting.
Also nice try OP, I saw you coming and made sure to duck out of the way in time😉
Q: how much is your time worth?
A: free pizza
Honestly, after Covid happened I can’t be bothered to wait in line ups anymore, especially something this excessive. The population grew over night, you gotta book things five years in advance now and yeah, the list goes on.
“Shit… they say the best things in life are free”
“It feels like LA, it feels like Miami”
I understand the lineups considering the housing and food insecurity many are facing. I hope they enjoyed the pizza.
1 pm on a weekday. Sometimes I wish I have this liberty to stop my work and grab a pizza. That would be the dream!
This is what will kill wfh. These people goofing off all day instead of doing their jobs
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Toronto is obsessed with lining up for ANYTHING.
Their pizzas are expensive but very good. Having said that I can eat about half a large which is 25 dollars. I’m not waiting in line for hours for 25 dollars lol
I knew about this promo a week ago and I’m a big fan of Maker. On top of that, my work happens to be in very close proximity. I would have maybe gone in warmer seasons. Unfortunately I feel awful in the cold outside for prolonged periods. Moving about, walking, running in the cold are all fine. Standing around for hours? No thank you.
Hilarious
So sad
The economy is fucked, I’m not surprised. Also that is a lot more than 150 people
When I was a young kid I wanted to wait in line for a World of Warcraft expansion release and WoW mouse. My Dad decided to come with me and because it was pretty cold in November we took shifts standing outside. It was about an 8 hour wait with me being third in line. I obviously got the game and the mouse. At the end yes if that was what I was waiting for and when I said yes he told me he could have just worked an overtime and not only bought me that Mouse but bought me a headset or a keyboard and it still would have been more convenient for him to do the overtime than us having to wait in line.
That’s when I realized waiting in line for something free doesn’t always mean it’s a good idea. My time is valuable. I don’t think I could ever wait in a line like that just for a free pizza.
I’d rather pay full price than wait for that long
Poverty activities
I literally go out of my way and pay extra not to wait in lines like this … reminds me to much of 1941
Those are the covid zombies right there
Skip the skids
Isn’t paying $10 two days later for a slice with no line a convenience worth buying?
ppl in toronto be lining up for anything even in winter
