That looks good. I have stopped the beer can chickens due to size. 30 years ago I could easily find 3 to 4 pound birds that fit and I easily could close the grill lid. Today if it is under 6 pounds and the grill lid does not close. I used to be able to do two birds on the Weber. Also when they were done I could see the meat sagging on the bird. I do not see that now. I spatchcock them now. I live in a rural area but it is cattle I can buy from a farm, the chicken farms are all gone here. Except for the Mennonites but their birds are just as large. Sorry for being an old guy venting about the good old days.

I’ve done beer cans right along side of a spatchcock right along side of a standard and I couldn’t tell the difference between the three of them.
