Preparation

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan and add the onion and garlic. Cook, stirring, until wilted. Add the curry powder, bay leaf, salt, pepper and rice, stirring to coat the grains.
  2. Add the broth and cover. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for exactly 17 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and serve.
