Anyone else think the Flat Iron is the best steak out there?
Since I discovered this steak last year it is all I buy. I love how tender and juicy they come out, but still have big beef flavor. And getting them for $10 a pound is also awesome! Have you tried it yet?

For me there is no best. But I love the “lesser” cuts that are affordable and have great flavor. Flat iron, flap, outside skirt, hanger, chuck eye, tres major. Just had a wonderful grass fed Denver steak last night; slightly chewy but such beefy goodness. Your flat iron looks delicious.

I really like flat iron with a little Bachan’s Japanese BBQ sauce and white rice on the side. I wouldn’t say the best steak out there but it’s a top 3 contender for me

def good! it’s like a much more tender flank steak with the texture, and pretty lean (the ones I’ve had). They grill up really nice too.

No such thing as best; it’s all subjective, as long as you cook it the way you like it and you enjoy it, that’s all that matters.
That said, a well prepared flat iron is a thing of beauty.

Next thing you know they’re going to be $23 each. They’ve been one of the best grilling secrets for a very very long time.
My favorite is always going to be tenderloin. It’s just so damn luxurious.
