Retail prices for the collection are $30 for the 20-year-old vines, $50 for the 40-year-old vines and $75 for the 70-year-old vines.

Chilean wine brand, 1865, has unveiled its debut travel retail exclusive edition, the 1865 Voyager Collection, at Changi Airport in Singapore. The range launches in exclusive collaboration with Lotte Duty Free this September.

The launch marks a significant milestone for 1865 as it introduces the collection of travel retail wines categorized by vine age to the Asian travel retail market.

The 1865 Voyager Collection can be found at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 Departures in a special exhibition and in all Lotte Duty Free wine stores at the airport.

The 1865 Voyager Collection is a tribute to winery Viña San Pedro’s rich heritage and exploratory ethos. Named after the year the winery was founded, 1865 wines reflect over 150 years of winemaking excellence. The 1865 Voyager Collection showcases the evolutionary journey of the vines through 20-year, 40-year, and 70-year varietals.

Travelers who purchase the 40-year-old vine expression will receive a complimentary luggage tag, while the 70-year-old vine wines are presented in a gift box.

Ximena Prieto, Commercial Director, VSPT Wine Group, commented: “Showcasing Chile and VSPT Wine Group as a high-quality wine producer on the global stage is a key priority for us. The launch of the 1865 Voyager Collection highlights our commitment to exceptional quality and innovative wine experiences.

This collection is a celebration of our deep-rooted heritage and expertise in winemaking, offering travelers a unique opportunity to savor the rich legacy of 1865 in a fresh, exclusive format. It blends tradition with modernity, providing an engaging way for consumers to explore vine education and its impact on wine.”

“We believe it will be a standout addition to the travel retail channel. Our partnership with CoLab in the Asia Pacific region is crucial to this effort. Their support helps us reach discerning consumers across the region, reinforcing the presence of Chilean wines in key markets,” added Prieto.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

The 20-year-old vines, still expanding and producing grapes with significant aromatic potential, focus on enhancing fruit expression that reflects both the variety and origin of the wine. With shorter oak aging, these wines are released earlier and can be enjoyed immediately.

The 40-year-old vines offer balance in yields and adaptation to the terroir, producing grapes of supreme quality that result in sophisticated wines.

The 70-year-old vines, through a more extended vinification and aging process, produce lower yields but offer grapes with greater concentration of tannins and flavors, leading to a well-rounded wine where the oak is less prominent and is better integrated with more complexity.

Phil Sancto, General Manager – APAC, CoLab, commented: “Introducing the 1865 Voyager Collection in Singapore reinforces the global appeal of Chilean wines and underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional wine experiences to Asian travelers.

As the distribution partner for 1865, CoLab is proud to play a key role in this launch. Across the wine and spirits category, where consumers often associate numerical indicators with quality, highlighting vine age with the 1865 Voyager Collection is a clear signpost for aspirational travelers.

We thank Lotte Duty Free for partnering with us to showcase the best of Chilean innovation and maestría and we hope to make a significant impact in this dynamic market.”

The 1865 Voyager Collection will be available exclusively at Changi Airport during September.
