Interesting that it has an old school ash catcher on a new style kettle. I personally like the old school ash catcher, I just wrap mine in aluminum foil to keep it clean. The grates look new, good call

The ash catcher should be attached to the legs higher up by those spring clip things. It’s too low sitting on that wire shelf/brace
