A twice baked potato with cheese, sour cream, butter, and bacon.

Beef needs potatoes and a green for me, roast broccoli, green beans or asparagus especially.

And potatoes i like smashed, boil them until they are just under fork tender, then hard fry them in just a little clarified butter youre looking for crispy golden brown, top with fresh rosemary and thyme. 😙

Mashed or roasted potatoes or rice. I want to soak up that delicious steak juice.

Steamed or roasted veggies are a great pairing, I especially love Brussels sprouts or broccoli, and they can both pick up juice pretty well. Potatoes are also a great pairing, but if you’re looking for healthy, then a baked potato with a little bit of butter is far better than a loaded one. If you’re really fancy, a dark greens salad with a balsamic dressing can also complement it, as acid works extremely well with fatty foods to cut through and add flavor.

Any type of potato, rice, vegetables (especially mushrooms).

You can never go wrong with a potato, sweet or otherwise, with a steak. Some greens will also help balance things out. Side salad, roasted veggie medley, grilled asparagus, whatever you prefer.

    Fuck the dumb shit.

“More of that beef,” is the only answer.

  8. Asparagus cooked in the pan you cooked the meat in while your steak rests.

I always enjoy making a mushroom and parm risotto to go with my steak. Pretty easy overall, I take my steak out of the fridge while I start prepping my risotto, and by the time I’m down to about 15 minutes left my steak is at room temp ready to cook

    Potatoes and asparagus. Legendary combo.

Sautéed mushrooms, creamed potatoes, and a fresh, seasonal salad (or the classic Caesar).

Potatoes/or baked potato. Asparagus with hollandaise on top.
