    It’s a rich strong flavor dish so something to cut through it to balance the palette out

  3. Not sure if you mean a side dish or a condiment, but I always add shredded/julienned cucumber to balance the saltiness with freshness.

    Kimchi pancake on the side is nice – it adds some acidity and different texture, especially if you get it crispy, without being too heavy.
