If it was 3am and I was slightly drunk I bet these would taste like absolute heaven

This was a typical middle school, after-school meal, cooked in the microwave while I waited for my parents to return.

Marginally worse than the burrito I had in Sydney Australia.

I don’t think Japan has figured out cheese in general yet.

Don’t tell me the fake American “cheese” made it to Japan.

How I feel when 99.9% of r/sushi posts their home made sushi, or their American fusion sushi.

I’ve lived in Japan for many years and have had many a questionable taco, but I’ve never seen any quite this bad.

This reminds me of my buddy who went to Mexico and he ordered a pizza off the menu and he told me basically it was like as if you told somebody what a pizza was but not exactly what it is so it was like a pizza in spirit but it wasn’t pizza

When you order tacos in Japan, you should probably go to one of the places run by someone who’s actually been to Mexico. Or South America.

Just before eating this disaster, Godzilla makes and appearance and levels Tokyo, sparing the shop you are in and still you must eat it. Ew.

Ooh that’s rough. Is that a chunk of hotdog?
Is that… hotdog?
When your definition of taco is meat cheese lettuce tomato on a piece of flat carbs.
Is that even a tortilla? It looks like flatter pita bread.
Fucken american cheese
Yo the tacos in Japan fucking suck.
Other country’s versions of US food always interests me. It’s never quite right, but not totally wrong.
All due respect dont order tacos in japan
If you’re eating anything other than Japanese food in Japan you’re doing it wrong.

I showed this to my Mexican wife and she threw up
I ordered nachos once in the philippines… yeah idk what I was thinking.
it was basically potato chips with some weird orange condiment drizzled on top (it was not cheese) and just some salt and pepper ground beef on top.
I asked my cousins why there wasn’t any taco seasoning used and they said that it smells like B.O.
I’d be getting sick of poke and ramen last thing I’d think about are tacos in Japan lmao
There are some way better looking taco places in japan. Obviously not as good as U.S or Mexico but way better than these. Look up 3Hermanos
Well- they knew the ingredients.
At least we know there’s a market for even my white ass mediocre tacos in Japan
I will not tolerate taco in Japan slander. The best tacos I’ve ever had (being from Australia) were from Japan.
The place is called [Uemon Taqueria](https://www.instagram.com/uemon_taqueria?igsh=MXNhNTB5N3cyYjc1Ng==) in Kyoto and they’re even make their own tortilla. This is the best taco I’ve had in my life. Do with that as you will (I’ve never been to Mexico or the US)
