I have always been envious of some of the sweet curbside find finds I see on this sub. Finally, it happened to me. And it'll happen to you, too! (insert Abe Simpson meme)

Sitting in the trash pile with the cover on. I whipped back around in my car and thought, *"no way there's a decent grill under there."* But alas, it is indeed a vintage Weber in the color I have so coveted! And HOLY SHIT is in great shape! These pics are *exactly* as I found it. I haven't cleaned a thing.

Any ideas how old this beauty is? I know we're back in the old school when it says "patent pending."

  1. I would have audibly gasped to see that color when I lifted the cover off. So glad this grill found a home that can appreciate it.

According to this guide you likely have a 1969-1970 grill: https://weberkettleclub.com/determine-age-of-old-grill/

Nice find. It truly is one of the best grilling out there, about to fire my kettle up in an hour or so. There is a reason they haven’t changed this in a long time.

  3. Congratulations.
I love dumb people choices. 😂
