I’m new to gardening and my neighbor warned me of the squirrel issue she faced so I decided to take proactive measures against the enemy.

They’re made are currently protecting some blackberry, blueberry, and pepper plants.

They’re made from cypress wood and hardware cloth, I know that painting them would help them last longer but I decided against it and finished it with raw linseed oil.

Hardware cloth makes life easier. Is that 1/2”. I had to go down to 1/4 bc of woodland creatures and it works wonders. You just have to spend stupid time and prep building barriers like this. Great work though. Would love to see plans but that of course is more work.

  2. Those are amazing! I’d absolutely love them for my yard.
