In pretty decent shape. Some minor cosmetic rust in places. Is the heat damage to the top an issue? The only thing it needs is a burner tube replacement that I can tall. Is it worth replacing? If so, what model tube's do I need? Make/model information has faded on the side.

I’ve got a similar model and have been using the living heck out of it for 5 years. Found in similar condition. Cover it when not in use, and it should last you a long time.

That’s not heat damage. Just carbon peeling off. Those covers are bullet proof. Clean it up, scrape and/or fine steel wool. See the Weber Kettle Club for cleaning and restroing. Are the tube really bad? I got one about ten years ago and thought they were bad but some cleaning and they wored perfectly. Just needed a new ignitor and replaces the flavorizer bars.

  3. Yes do it! Google parts for the model and you will get an awesome grill for the next 20 years. They don’t make grills like this quality anymore. Everything is shit stainless.

I have a red head just like it since the late 90’s. I just replace parts as needed which really isn’t very often. I just can’t seem to find a good enough reason to replace.

Burners are cheap and these late model webers are like legos, you can get another used on the cheap and use it for parts…. You could add a side burner and fold out table , if you’re so inclined

the east-west burners might be difficult to find, dunno for sure; Weber hasn’t made them for decades. You’ve got to check the entire gas manifold completely for leaks so read up on how to do that properly. Nice find, probably last another fifty years.

Trash. Put it back on the street. What’s your address I’ll take it to the dump for you.

Best gas grills ever made in my opinion. Most worthy of restoration
