Crockpot looks kinda old but also looks well used. What are the odds this has lead in the glaze? I’ve been told lead kits don’t 100% work since the lead leaches out more when the crock pot is hot. Do I just bite the bullet and buy a new one? But I’m also still curious on how old you guys think it is

  1. There’s a website listed – can’t be THAT old.

I’m not the best person to answer your question but just wanted to say wow that’s a beautiful crock pot! love the sage green

My GoogleFu seems to indicate this model is from around 2012

  4. There is approximately ZERO chance that there’s lead in that glaze. That CrockPot is from the early 2000’s, not 1950.

  5. Worry more about worn out electrical cords more on old appliances!

No lead. But don’t leave it plugged in after the Super Bowl if you don’t want your house to burn down and your hot husband to die
