Ive started these seed March 9th and they are still fairly small. Are these healthy and just slow? My plan is to plant them outside in about 4 weeks

My thoughts too. Mine look the same. 5 weeks so far and they’re still super tiny.

They’re madly growing strong roots, down where you can’t see.

If you could give them a bit of heat they might grow faster but they look really good to me
My mom was having trouble sprouting some asparagus seeds so I took them in. Gave them some warmth and they have pretty much all sprouted.
Our butternuts have all curled up from the cold/wind and I’m actually thinking of planting new seeds today.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I planted seeds on March 25th. Next week it will be four weeks, and mine look like this too. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong, but I guess it is the normal process? 😅 I wonder when I will be able to eat some tomatoes and cucumbers. 🥲
I planted my tomatoes 9th of March too! They look just about the same as yours.
My plants suffered due to overwatering but have recovered. Also I increases the temperature in the room where I have my plants. They seem to thrive now. So take care to let them dry up between watering. If you can push temperature to 20-22 C they will also benefit. And perhaps add some light?
I am quite far north from you and have started to harden off the least water affected plants. I put them in shade for a few hours a day, steadily increasing the time. I plan on planting in the ground around 4 weeks from now. 18th of May is last day of frost for my area.

Squash and beans are bigger, though.
