Sassicia is the only one I’m familiar with. It is over the top awesome.
Really like the Tenuta San guido personally. I’ve only had that and Sassicaia so kind of two ends of the spectrum
Without seeing your ratings I thought immediately Fontalloro and Lupicaia, no matter the vintage, I remember them for the elegance, while some others either too much on the power side or not anymore like in the past…
Am surprised of your rating of Sassicaia honestly, even more being so young…
I didn’t try it for a while but never impressed in recent times…
Felsina!!!
Sassiccia takes the cake here hands down. Other notables that aren’t present for me anyway, Sassafredi and Brancaia Ilatraia.
Sassicaia obvi
Fontalloro is fantastic for a $50-$60 Sangiovese.
Tua Rita without a doubt. I have around 10 bottles of the Giusto Di Notri (1998, 2001) vintage and every time I open one my guests, and myself, are very happy.
