Less than $20 for a cast iron griddle (Ozark trail) at Walmart, I just toss it on the original grate when I want to use it.
I’ve done this for years, works awesome.

I got a 20″ reversible cast-iron griddle from lodge. It fits good on the grate. Plus, it fits on my propane stove and works awesome on a campfire.

Way overpriced … I would go with a Hunsaker griddle

I have one that I received as a gift. It is very good quality and I like it, but after owning one, I don’t know that I would buy it for myself. I do like the large work area it gives me. I can cook all of our burgers at the same time.

Why bother? Just go buy a propane flat top for the same price. This is a waste of money.
I bought one of [these](https://www.hunsakersmokers.com/collections/griddles/products/griddle-plate-for-22-kettle-grill) a few years ago and it’s been great. I haven’t had any rust and was impressed with the quality. Cheaper than the Weber one too.
