  1. Chateau Tour Bel Air Montagne Saint Emilion 2022, Bordeaux, France

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Nose of red fruits with earth, light wood, spices, coffee, black pepper and vegetables.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Very dry on the palate with plums, cherries, spices, light oak, dark coffee, vegetables, herbs and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and pomegranates.

This Merlot blend from Bordeaux is drinking nicely now. Elegant and fruity. Smooth, with mild complexity.

Needed 2 hours of airtime to bring up some complexity.

Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.

Easy drinking, and better with food.

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    88 points.

    $18.
