I tried these and don’t like them But however I am comparing them to Season brand lol The texture is very mushy and they are so salty and not many on the market have no added salt I ate them because I’m not one for wasting food I guess I shouldn’t have my hopes up on a cheap brand but I saw so many good reviews Will move on next is Wild Planet

King Oscar is basically the only sardine brand I reach for anymore, it’s light years ahead of everything else

Polar is my go to cheap tinned fish brand. Have yet to be disappointed with any of them. Honestly I still prefer them to some of the more fancy stuff out there.

Chicken of the sea canned chub mackerel in brine is pretty okay but it does have a bit of salt what with the brine.

  5. COTS is pretty well known here for being awful – I’m not surprised at anything you described. Fortunately there are delicious and affordable cans of tinned fish out there – especially in your local ethnic markets šŸ™‚

    You deserve delicious canned fish!!

I just ate those today. They left a smell in my kitchen and my dad was like “something smells like piss!” I kept quiet…

I had cots in olive oil today with some sourdough bread & they were great

I usually use Chicken of the Sea as a protein booster for soups or salads. I dont eat them by themselves anymore.

  10. Those deens aren’t very good, but you know Frank’s and some Yellow got your back.

They always help when you gotta choke down some rough food.

Chicken of the Sea is awful, I don’t know how they package their fish but it’s always dry as bone and about as good tasting
