(3) Opened tin
(4) I used the calamari tin oil to make a dressing with some prepared tuna tin oil chimichurri I made a few days ago. Always use your tin oils!!💚
(5-7) I added some tomatoes into the calamari and chimichurri to marinate and make a dressing to flavor the rice
(8) I love this Red Cargo and Brown Jasmine rice as a base for fish – I get mine at H Mart
(9) I felt like I wanted a pop of crunch so I tossed in some sliced sweet pepper rings — YUM!!

TJ’s calamari is delicious, but is also seasonal – so it’s not available year-round. So I picked up a few tins and may get a few more soon to carry me through the winter before the squid fishery opens again and these tins come back in stock.
One of my favorite ways to eat this tin is in a rice bowl with fresh veggies. The bright clean chewy calamari with crunchy fresh vegetables and rice makes for a quick and healthy budget-friendly meal.
This tin is 1 serving, but I made a filling lunch for 2 adults today by adding tomatoes and fresh veggies to the calamari before putting it over the rice.
11/10 will buy this tin again.
Here’s the post on making the tin oil chimichurri – which will keep in the fridge for a week-10 days:

Oh, I see, you’re just dunking on me. “This guy just eats his in lime juice? Lemme show him how a *real OG does it*.”
This is such a healthy and delicious meal. Kudos to putting in the effort!
This calamari with rice and gochujang w/ miso has been my go to lunch at work for a month now. So good.
