(1) The haul – 4 cans of calamari and 2 packs of crispbreads – both of which purchases were inspired by posts here 🙂
(2-3) The state of the calamari supply at the Greenville Ave store – there’s more in the back, but when it’s gone they’re not sure how much more they will get until next year. FYI – no need to panic, just maybe grab a few tins to get you through the winter

Thanks to a couple of posters here I was inspired to go to TJ’s and get some delicious flatbreads and some limited-time calamari tins.
I confirmed with the manager that the Calamari are a seasonal item, so once they’re out, they’re out – they do have “plenty” in the back, and it will be back next year as a seasonal offering
u/The_Rimmer for flatbreads and
u/SockofBadKarma for the intel on the calamari

Isn’t a micro-haul just… a shopping trip?

As someone fairly new to tinned fish, any recommendations for what to do with the calamari?

Next time you’re at TJs get the Danish “European Grains and Seed Bread”. It’s amazing!

These in a homemade poke bowl style thing is so good. Usually too lazy to do all that so I just dump it in a bowl of rice with hot sauce and mix
