I've been told by fellow Redditors that my home made burgers look like Culver's. So I had to cross the Canada-US border and head down south to Florida to try one myself. I was not disappointed. It's for sure the best fast food burger I've had — and it even rivals some local non-fast food burger joints imo

And once you go back in the future you’ll realize the consistency of quality solidifies everything.

Try the cheese curds on your next visit.

Thanks! I was wondering what I was going to do for lunch. Love this place

  4. dumbledwarves

That does look good. I hate crinkle cut fries though.

It’s definitely a good burger but I always get the reuben. Sometimes I get a burger and reuben. They have some great food,

I stopped eating meat but I will still defend Culver’s forever

If your homemade burgers look like Culver’s, also, I encourage you to go to Wisconsin someday and find your people.

Tried it for the first time last weekend, it was delicious

  8. Juicy perfection – good picture flopped on a ripe red one 🙂

Just got to Ft. Lauderdale gotta wait to get it for now – time it when my daughter is here and wants to get something new – Culver isn’t exactly an exciting brand name to peak her interest – but I could use this picture lol

Where the curds tho? Curds > crinkle cut fries. I will die on this hill.

Met someone from Wisconsin the other day and she gave me a big hug when I told her I love culvers

This is the one I’ve wanted to try. We’re in Michigan here and there but my wife doesn’t really like fast food or fast casual so we don’t go lol. I get to go to CA for work like once a year so I get in n out and I’m East coast so I get five guys, shake shack, tasty burger.

Culver’s is always a real solid option. I’m never going to say it’s the must go to on a road trip. Nor is it a place I actively seek out most of the time. But I never complain when I go there or I see them.

The quality is there, and the food is damn good

  13. I’ll be visiting Cleveland next month and plan on seeing the Football Hall of Fame while I’m there. There’s a Culver’s not 10 minutes from the hall, I’ll have to try it.

Tell me you got the cheese sauce. If not, get your ass back there, stat. Trust.

  15. l get lunch from them at least 1x week. Burger fries drink Under $10 hard to beat. ALWAYS delicious!

Culver’s is my favorite, and their chocolate custard rocks!

I would go with Portillo’s as being the best, but they’re regional. They also had a change of ownership recently, so we’ll see if the quality remains consistent.

Ahh Culver’s..I need to try this one day. I’m an in n out fan, but to me there’s always room for different burger preps and tastes.

I tried Culver’s yesterday for the first time. I thought it was too greasy and too salty

  20. dafishinsea

Freddy’s is #1 for me, followed by Culver’s

  21. _Runner_up

That burger looks great. Wisconsin kid here and I miss Culver’s dearly

  22. What sort of price is it for a regular burger combo?

  23. WaltonGogginsTeeth

They’re decent but I’d much rather have Freddys than Culver’s.

  24. JustHereForMiatas

Accept no substitute. Definitely one of the top things I miss about Wisconsin.

  25. lemonsracer

Dude for sure. I had it for the first time in like 15 years a few weeks ago. It’s incredible. It tasted like a smashburger I’d make at home. Perfect sear and crispy edges. No other fast food joint even comes close. I’d rather have Culver’s than a lot of local burger joints. Too bad there are none close to me

I have still never been… I might be inspired now

  27. AidesAcrossAmerica

Any Wisconsinites near Milwaukee know that Kopps is by far the superior Midwestern burger.  culver’s is just fast food…m

  28. Murphy_York

It’s great. I’m born and raised in Wisconsin and moved to SoCal many years ago. I put it 1a and 1b with in n out. However, Culver’s has Better fried chicken and sides.

  29. sleepy_intentions

I’m sorry Culver’s lovers that you don’t have an In N Out near you. I tried Culver’s for the first time about a week ago and I can’t believe people think this is the best fast food burger. I literally need to get myself to In N Out soon, so I can forget the taste of this mediocre burger.

  30. Latter-Light8759

Can we take a second to normalize Frozen Custard though??? It’s so much better.

P.S. they usually have pretty good fish and chicken tenders too. I like that you can get a “home style dinner” there.

  31. MovieFanatic2160

Not even close. I’ll take five guys any day.

  32. Flimsy6769

Ok idk if I went to a bad Culver’s, but the one time I went it was the most mid burger ever. I got the mushroom Swiss I think

  33. HedgehogImmediate1

It’s a decent burger but not sure about #1
