I live near Philly but just drive 6 hours to Buffalo because I wanted to experience the best wings out there. Duffs (first image) was amazing flavor but they were extremely dried out and chewy. Anchor Bar (2nd image) was cooked far better but barely had any flavor. Both wings were crispy.

What would/do you prefer?

Duffs was my favorite of the two. The ones I got were actually pretty awesome

  2. People that live in Buffalo don’t go to either. If I had to choose between these two, I’m picking original Duff’s on Sheridan. By a mile, really five miles.

But best wings in Buffalo are at one of the following, depending on individual tastes: Bar Bill, Nine Eleven Tavern, Elmo’s, Adolf’s Old First Ward, Sonny Red’s, Potter’s Field

I always went to Anchor because of the history. All the locals kept telling me to try Duffs. After I bit the bullet, and tried it, I have not been back to Anchor since.
