These are the best beans and I am so curious if anyone knows how to make a homemade version? I am trying to learn how to cook so if anyone has a recipe I would be eternally grateful.

If you want it to taste the same, use lots of salt lol. There’s a ton of sodium in those bad boys.

While I don’t have a recipe I always go to- making beans from dry will give you the best beans. I made some refried style yesterday with only salt added & they were so good. If I hadn’t made them myself I would’ve swore they had fat/dairy.

Dry pintos, soak overnight then drain. Dice 1 white onion, 2 chipotle peppers and sautee in a stock pot. Add beans and cover with plenty of salt then top with veggie broth. Bring to a boil, simmer and cover them cook at least 4 hours

Kind of a cop-out, but this same company makes their own spice mixes – maybe try using the ingredients from one of those (not necessarily the Sieste spice mix itself, but the exact components of each are available on their website) in your own pinto beans, plus onion, cilantro, and maybe some pureed chipotles.
