By my eye it’s pretty standard retail pricing, as it should be, everything here would be cut, portioned, and packaged.

I’d honestly look into a side of beef before I’d go this route.
There’s ranchers out there that’ll set you up with a freezer chest when you buy a side or whole cow.

I can do better at Costco.
HumbleLife69
They’re being intentionally vague and that alone would be reason not to buy.

I would say no

It all depends on the grade of the meat, how it is sourced, and how it’s raised. The fact that you have a deli from which you can order all that meat, including pounds of bacon, suggests that they are a real butcher shop.
Luingalls
Losely estimating about 8-10$ / pound. Can’t know for sure as not all weights are listed. If it’s good quality – like top notch – then I’d buy.
dustydub99
Depends on how good the meat is really. The pricing is fine if it’s good cuts of meat.
At my butcher I pay $20 a LB for good NY strip. $25 a LB for good ribeye, up to $40 for dry aged. $5ish a LB for ground chuck.
… and all that without spending $200 at one time for meat.

Looks like Kelly’s in Lebanon. Never bought meat from there but their food is really good.

Well to me it depends on two things. Weight of the steak and where is this. In CA or NYC then I would say those are bargains…..of course you might want to have a lab test to make sure they aren’t some homeless people being served up.
Terrible-Champion132
Bad deal unless it’s all “top-shelf” meat. Even then it’s pretty bad. You’re buying in bulk. It’s a special so it should be cheaper. It’s the same price as buying everything individually in my area. If I bought top quality. That depends on weight. I’m just basing my opinion on average cut I would see in grocery store.

This looks too easy for the store to abuse. Unless it’s very specific on grade and weight, I would ignore and prob never go back to this store.

Man. I’m scared for the world, are they not trying to starve us and leave us homeless ? What’s going on in the world man

I wouldn’t even consider buying ungraded meat. If it was good quality they’d be bragging about it

$150 for two frying chickens? Are they nuts? I get free range and all that but when you can get a cooked and seasoned rotisserie from Costco for $7 that’s more than absurd.
PistolofPete
Seems like a rip off

I just picked up 189lbs of cow hindquarter on Good Friday. We paid $699 with $100 down when we ordered. That worked out to $3.69 per lb from ground beef to porterhouse, prime rib etc. That also included extra charge for pre patty some burger up into 1/3 lb patties.
It’s impossible to tell if you get a deal without knowing weight as others have said. But a huge difference between box store meat and local raised beef. I’m in Northern Indiana, we buy Amish raised beef, chicken and pork.

I just find it so odd how they sell mixed meats in bundles like this. Never seen it. Seems like a kitchen logistics nightmare.
Big-Meeze
Gotta show the meat. Also lol at people asking what the USDA grade is.

Considering our primo butcher shop
Will charge 70-90 bucks for a w pound delmonicco this is a good deal for sure if quality prime fresh meat
Depends on the thickness and quality of the meat, but in general yeah I’d call this a good deal
Can’t determine that if the weight of the steaks aren’t listed
No one knows. Need the weight of each steak and whether it’s prime or choice, and of course the marbling itself.
Choice/ Prime/Waygu? not enough info to make the call
Without a USDA grade and weights on steaks, hard to determine
I wouldn’t without seeing the weight and quality edit:spelling
unless those are massive steaks and chops then no
Ground chuck $5lb.
Pork is really cheap, $20 total.
Ribeye 25ea
Strip 20ea
