Although I wouldn’t call it a cronut.. If you’ve never had the croissant donuts at HEB your life is incomplete. (Far left in pic)

I’m a big fan of grabbing a couple of these for under $2 … so flaky and good … make sure you are prepared for a ton of glaze and flakes but man they are good

Never knew they had those. Then again the earliest I usually go is like 11 am on a Sunday

They also have really good old fashion donuts

  4. These were foundational in me becoming a fat kid.

I miss the Dossants from Noble Pig/Sandwiches and haven’t had anything that reaches that level, but this definitely gets the job done.

I haven’t seen them at Mueller HEB recently tho. Which store is this?

Never tried HEB donuts. I suppose the way they’re displayed always made me assume they’re essentially has station donuts — dry and stale.

This information isn’t going to be good for my pool figure.

All their stuff could be good…Except they serve you day old food. If you go to an HEB in the evening shortly before closing you will see them filling the donut trays for the next morning. So then the croissants are already dried out and donuts are stiff when they should be fresh and perfect in the morning. The lost potential breaks me heart
