Nice! Couple of cooking tips — first, cut the greens off ASAP and store in the crisper wrapped in wet paper towel. Leaving them on the taproot results in poor quality greens & carrots due to the plant’s messy effort to conserve moisture. Second, separate the frilly leaves from the thick stems. The leaves are great for a raw prep like chimichurri, but the stems are frequently too fibrous. The stems can be saved for any cooked dishes that will break them down sufficiently; I tend to stick them in my “scrap veggie” bag in the freezer to use for stock.

I’m growing cosmic purples for the first time. They are so pretty!
