What are these (not the aphids) on my tomato plant? Friend or foe?

Stink bug eggs are right – big tomato foe. They use their mouth parts to pinch the tomato skin and suck out the juices, you’ll get ugly splotches all over your tomatoes. You’re lucky to have found them all together right after they hatched! Just pluck that whole leaf off and put in soapy water to get rid of them.

You probably already have stink bugs in your garden. You can catch them as they are pretty slow (I wear gloves because they do stink). They generally hang out on your tomatoes. Same as the babies just dunk them in a cup of soapy water. They also fall straight down when threatened so if you go to grab one hold the cup underneath and half the time they’ll just fall straight in on their own!
