Thanks! I loooove bama white. Almost to the point that the meat is just a vessel for it. I’ve tried countless variations, and I’m gonna add this to the list (seems a bit more traditional), but the one I keep going back to that gets rave reviews is from hey grill hey. https://heygrillhey.com/alabama-white-sauce/ . White sauce is so easy to make i encourage everyone to make a bunch. I like to do 2 or three different half batches (along with a double serving of my fav) when I pull a few chickens.

I’m impressed by the photo quality, very pristine (aside from the thumbnail).

Meat Mitch has a good one.

If you are not using it as a dipping sauce, I thin it out a little more to dip the chicken like BBG does and throw it back on the smoker
I’ve been to Bob Gibson’s twice and white sauce aside I was very pleased with the overall consistent quality

So great, I made this last summer and it was delightful on smoked chicken and turkey

This looks awesome and I’d for sure dip wings in this, but where do we draw the line on what is or isn’t BBQ sauce?
I gotta say, I wouldn’t call anything mayo-based BBQ sauce.
SeriousMcDougal
I’ve made it and it’s just soupy mayo with spice. No thanks.

We put it on everything. My kids love it and especially dipping their quesadillas in it, made with leftover pulled pork of course.

I’m from Alabama and have always loved BBQ, but I never heard of white BBQ sauce until long after i moved out of state. It must be a regional thing. I’ll stick with my red sauce.
