i topped it around a week ago because it was growing faster than the other plants and i didn’t want the other plants to get less light so i thought topping it would be a good idea to even the growth with the plants but it isn’t really showing any signs of growth so did i do something wrong?

Why are you topping a plant that small?
Whenever you top, it sets the plant back for a bit. Pretty normal and I dont think anything is wrong imo. Would do some good to pot up tho.

It’s fine. The plant is starting to distribute its energy toward all the nodes. It’s slow until it’s fast.
And there is nothing wrong with topping a pepper that size.
It’s doing exactly what you wanted it to do.
