Me again, folks. On this trip to L.A., I was able to go to Bay Cities Italian Deli in Santa Monica, Musso and Frank Grill, HMS Bounty, and back to Kura Sushi, near where I work in Koreatown.
I've checked out of my hotel, and I am leaving my job site at 2 PM. My flight at LAX boards at 7:30, so it seems like I SHOULD have time to Lyft from Koreatown to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank with all my stuff, eat, and then Lyft to LAX with time to spare. Or will I? I know L.A. traffic is bad, but could it be that bad?
My second choice is The Apple Pan, which is much more of a midpoint between Koreatown and LAX, but I was really hoping to go to Bob's, to pay tribute to David Lynch and just get the whole experience. But timing-wise, would I be cutting it too close?
EDIT: I will be back later this year and will totally try the other place I don't go to today. I am excited to try both, but Bob's is my top choice for this afternoon. I have TSA PreCheck, for what it's worth.
EDIT: I made it to Bob's Big Boy and still got to my gate with over two hours to spare!
EDIT: I already reviewed Bob's Big Boy on my food blog:
