I was worried that my discard that sat in the fridge for a month and a half wasn’t going to come back in time… so I added about a tsp of raw honey with my feed and she sat out on the counter last night. Now I’m going to make 1,000,000 cinnamon rolls thank god I put the bowl under her lmao.

That would have been TRAGIC if you had not placed the bowl under there

Woah! So can you add honey to the starter normally?

FYI, sourdough cinnamon rolls need hungry starter. Let that die down for a bit or you might struggle with fermentation later.

  5. Wow where do you buy your honey, those bees are putting in the work

When I make a loaf after she’s been in the fridge for a while I add some honey to my dough mix to give it a boost not enough to taste but enough to give it a kick start
