I wouldn’t say they are streateats since they have a proper brick-and-mortar place, but this is definitely amazing comfort food, especially in the winter.

If you ever have trouble finding Cafe Du Monde, just follow the trail of tourists with white powder all over their faces and shirts.
And if you didn’t find Cafe Du Monde with that trick, you’ve probably stumbled onto something better anyway.

You should try their Café au lait when you’re there. The chickory coffee is a cool Louisiana twist

I miss that place so much. When I went to New Orleans a few years ago, I had no idea what it was and a friend of mine told me about it then we went and I loved every bite!
