Sadly some of my herbs burned in the oil when searing, so that effected the crust quite obviously, however I am very happy with the doneness

You’re the one who is eating it. If you’re happy, that’s all that matters!

But for the record, I think it looks great.

  2. Don’t play modest with us, CHEF! Jokes aside- stellar cook here. Perfect crust, temp, and you clearly rested it the ideal amount of time. No notes.

If you cook like this, can I be your friend too?

This is what I want on a crust. None of that grill mark stuff i want a full 100% sear like this

Man, I’ve started messing with reverse sear and I feel like it’s going well, but your sear puts mine to shame. For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to get that kind of sear with so much pink in the center and so little grey band.
