What’s your go to side that you’d have with anything? Mine’s Bruschetta… refreshing, garlicky, and fun to make. I drizzle some reduced balsamic glaze over it and it turns it to 11.

Ive never made bruschetta but you’ve inspired me to give it a try.
I almost always grill a vegetable to go with the meat, usually asparagus, zucchini or yellow squash.
I love a good homemade potato salad, something cold and creamy to complement the hot and rich meat.

Looks good!

BBQ baked beans or corn pudding for me. Although I love making tomato salads in the summer when you can get good tomatoes.

Love it but I gotta stick with grilled corn. The kids always eat it and it is easy as soaking in water and tossing on the grill.
Still. That cool tomato and garlic and basil on the crunchy bread with the balsamic glaze.
Good complement to the meat. Frack. Getting hungry.

Traditionalist. Potato Salad and Coleslaw.
That brusheta looks killer though but yeah, hard to get decent tomatoes unless you grow your own.

Bruschetta’s a great idea! I like a grilled corn salad for the same reasons. I got on a smoked acorn squash kick last year too, and was into calabacitas (Mexican summer vegetables, basically) the year before that. Our garden got stunted by the heat last year, so I didn’t have tomatoes until October.

We’re fancy over here. We like smoked meats with fancy sides. Tonight’s Bday dinner: ribs, chicken, spinach -beets-goat cheese salad, Brussels spout slaw, blue berry corn bread for dessert.
Meat, greens, small dessert. And a Bourbon Renewal for a pre dinner cocktail.

Ever tried beach bread?
How do you make that bruschetta?
