$210 dollars for 3.5lbs of meat my god
I made a post yesterday. I also got one in GA. How many was there? My store only had 7 total yesterday.
My pockets are SCREAMING but please do show the result of cooking this!
I’ve had a5 at restaurants over 10 times, $30-90 per oz and it’s never very good…
I would use that beef to cook fresh beans from scratch.
Is it just all fat?
Looks amazing.
That’s what I’m thinking $210. 💆♂️💆♂️.
Hopefully you know how to cook wagyu papa
Holy hell pleas come back and tell me what that taste like.
Holy shishkabob that’s one hunk of chunk
Time for some smash burgers
That’s a Sin in My opinion, I don’t care how rich You are…….
And nobody gives a shit about YOU!
I’ve had A5 Wagyu… it is extremely overrated… I wouldn’t buy it again even if it was $10 a pound
Y’all rich.
I’ve never seen it in a Costco warehouse, only online. I went to a business dinner at a Korean steakhouse about 5 years ago. We did a Kobe/Wagyu tasting of 5 different types/levels. Each person got a piece about an inch a half long and 1/4 inch thick. The waiter did a quick sear on a table side hot plate. There was a variety of salts recommended for each particular cut. All you had to do was put it on your tongue and let it melt. Ridiculous.
I haven’t one that size at my local Costcos. That’s an insane amount of wagyu. When are you posting the cooked result?
america is good at hype japanese goods.
$60/lb for this is an insanely great deal. I guess some folks just don’t get that lmao
Mercy
Pretty high fat content but no grade listed. It’s a good deal if it’s A-5 but I am always suspicious when grades aren’t listed.
I’m glad this isn’t something I’ve gotten into. I love a good steak but when it’s more fat than meat it just doesn’t look appetizing to me. My wallet is grateful for this.
I looooove steak but I want to eat the actual meat not just tons of fat. I do not get the hype for fatty meats. I guess it’s good for my wallet that my favorite steak is a nice lean sirloin.
The last few times I’ve seen these on here they’ve been for $59.99/lb. Great price. My Costco has had A5 but it has always been $99.99/lb which I still thought was a good price as anywhere else around here is anywhere between $160-$200+. If I saw this I’d surely buy it as well
Finally? Put some respect on their name.
Sashimi
Oh dang. Worth every penny. Dang.
