We had a social gathering with my local sports group and I’m curious to see how many calories i consumed. I ate 1 cookie (chocolate chips) and two of the muffins (oats, they were really sweet and dense). I ate most of the pineapple, 5 slices of kiwi and about 4 carrots. I’m not too curious about the fruit but the baked goods got me wondering. How many calories for all of that? I logged 700 cals but i might as well have generated a random number because I genuinely don’t know. Thanks in advance!

hey lurker !
sounds like we should direct our focus on the cookie & muffins here so ill do just that…
these choc chip cookies in particular look like they spread quite a bit while baking so are likely large than they may seem in relation to weight.
an appropriate reference here comes [from Best Maid](https://www.webstaurantstore.com/best-maid-thaw-and-serve-chocolate-chunk-cookie-2-oz-case/108RIS70875.html) via the webstaurant wholesale website where a 100g portion of their chocolate chip cookie goes for ≈470 calories. yours are likely ≈2oz or ≈55g which would budget ≈***250 calories per cookie***.
for our 2 muffins, i would expect ≈3oz or ≈85g. although no perfect reference via the webstaurant store, [average values of muffins by David’s Cookies](https://www.webstaurantstore.com/66171/muffins.html?vendor=David-s-Cookies) goes for ≈380 calories per 100g. this would budget each muffin at ≈325 calories or ***2 muffins at ≈650 calories.***
im aware this is quite a bit more than you seemingly had in mind…but baked goods as such are very calorie dense and add up very quick! always good to keep in mind
