Just hit up Diego in West Town during their Saturday Brunch and we were absolutely blown away with the quality of seafood here.

If you have ever been to Mi Campa Chava in Mexico City, Diego does a similar rendition of Baja-style ceviche and Mariscos.

We started off with their chips (tostadas) with 3 fantastic house salsas & guacamole. Only complaint here is that the waitress asked if we wanted chips and salsa, but we didn’t realize it was $15.

The Mariscos Maximo ($36) came fully loaded with Octopus, Shrimp, Tuna, cucumber, onion, cilantro, and house made salsa negra to top it all off. This is served with a side of tostadas and you can easily make 6 tostadas out of this dish.

The Tuna Tostada ($17) was a flavor bomb – the salsa macha was the star of the show here and really highlights the light and fresh tuna.

All in, this is the perfect lunch for 2..especially on a beautiful spring day paired with a couple Diego Lagers (Casa Humilde).
