How to make Challah Bread
Here’s what you’ll need:
1/2 cup water (125ml)
2 tsp instant yeast (6g)
1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
3 tbsp sugar (45g)
3 tbsp olive oil (36ml)
-3 cups bread flour (375g) or all purpose flour
-1 tsp salt (5g)
Eggwash: 1 egg yolk + 1 tbs water
Food for the soul:
Matthew 21:43. “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
