Crostata, a pastry base with apricot jam. You can use any jam you like actually.
Cherries and sour cherries is the best!
Super easy to make and super tasty to have.

È una banale crostata con confettura di albicocche
For those who have never had this, it’s lovely. The pastry part is close to what Americans/Brits would call a shortbread, and this is my favorite kind of pastry. It’s not overly sweet – if you’re used to multi-layer cakes with a lot of frosting, this is a departure. But it’s just sweet enough from the jam and so buttery from the pastry.
