AdVini and DFG confirm new partnership.
International wine group AdVini has entered into a new partnership with wines and spirits agency Duty Free Global (DFG).
DFG will be showcasing a selection of AdVini’s fine wines at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference (Basement 2 F-10).
“This new partnership will reinforce AdVini’s strategy in the global travel retail market thanks to the support of DFG’s dedicated sales team of experts,” noted Ieva Olina, AdVini Travel Retail Key Account Manager. “We’re delighted to be working with Barry Geoghegan and the Duty Free Global team; their industry knowledge, reputation and expertise is unparalleled.”
AdVini targets GTR expansion
The new DFG partnership is focused on specific markets, including Asia and other areas in GTR that AdVini doesn’t currently cover. It encompasses AdVini’s global brands from Bordeaux and the Rhône Valley, as well as other regions in the South of France, such as Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, in addition to the main brands from AdVini’s South African wine offer.
Duty Free Global Founder Barry Geoghegan commented: “The team at Duty Free Global had the pleasure to visit the amazing French wine estates with AdVini earlier this year. We are very excited to launch this new partnership at TFWA Asia Pacific to all of our friends in the region.
The new Duty Free Group partnership will focus on specific markets, including Asia and other areas in travel retail that AdVini doesn’t currently cover.
“The approach that AdVini has to the wine business is fully aligned with DFG. The AdVini team understands the nuances and requirements which are unique to the GTR channel, and we are really looking forward to tasting the excellent range with the operators in Singapore next month.”
At the Singapore show, the focus will include wines from Bordeaux (Château Patache d’Aux, Château Capet Guillier, Château Liversan); the Rhône Valley (L’Oratoire des Papes and Ogier); Provence (Gassier); Languedoc and Roussillon (Vignobles Jeanjean and Maison Cazes); and Stellenbosch, South Africa (Ken Forrester Vineyards, L’Avenir and Kleine Zalze).
In collaboration with DFG, AdVini is organising a vertical tasting session on Monday 13 May. The session, ‘Revealing the terroir wines: Bordeaux versus Rhône’, will feature a comparative vertical tasting of L’Oratoire des Papes versus Château Patache d’Aux.
This event has been designed to offer an insight into the distinct terroirs and winemaking styles of these two prestigious French wine regions.
