I made not so great financial decisions regarding delivery food due to depression and am now poor, still have the good graces of living under my parents roof and don’t want to burden them with feeding me(and I have issues regarding them cooking with about to be expired/ actually expired vegetables regularly) so I’ve finally forced myself to do something about it. Just under $20 later and I’ve got pasta with four cheese sauce, vegetables, and sausage(came with a coupon for a free can of beans that ill do something with at a later date or have as a side) for one week two meals a day and another of the exact same with a different sauce for the next week. Will I be tired or even sick of past by the end of these two weeks? Yes. But by then I’ll have hopefully found another cheap meal to fill my stomach with for another week or so.

For the recipe it is 16 oz pasta sauce of choice(I used four cheese), 12 oz tri color pasta(rotini), half a pack(2 1/2 links) any sausage, 1 pack 16 oz stir fry vegetables with broccoli. Cook pasta as directed, brown the sausage and chop it up, cook vegetables, heat sauce through, combine sauce, vegetables, and meat, serve over pasta and enjoy. It’s pretty good for someone who is indifferent about pasta.
This is the way. You can make simple sauces with a bit of oil and spices if you get bored!
Yes this is the way! I bought 16 oz ground chicken on clearance for $2, jar vodka pasta sauce on clearance for $1.50 and added pasta, zucchini, onion and celery. Delicious. Made so many servings. Making again soon.
This looks yummy and will now be on my menu to start packing lunching and meal prep

Good job!
Freeze one or two for later use. After a while you will have a variety of ready made meals.
Also frozen vegetables are cheaper with less waste and you can use the amount you need.
